Dalton Keith Haus was born at 8:27 a.m. He weighed 5lbs. 13oz. and was
19 inches long.
Dalton was born at 36 weeks 5 days. I was a little worried that his
lungs wouldn't be quite developed enough. When I heard him cry for the
first time, I was relieved.
After the doctor had looked him over he came in to talk to us. He
told us that Dalton was "PERFECT". He said that he doesn't get to say
that very often to parents of 36 week old parent. So you can imagine how
good that made us feel. Dalton had a hearing test and passed. He also had
an ultrasound done on his kidney and the extra fluid was gone. So I guess
that means that my baby really is "perfect".
We took Dalton to church for the first time Sunday, the 3rd of February.
Of course he got lots of love and attention.
He went on his first big trip when he was only 10 days old. He did very
well. Slept most of the way except when he was hungry.
He is doing so well being at home. We are so thankful for a healthy
baby boy. We thank God for him everyday.
