Christmas was once again upon us. We opened our gifts early because we weren't going to be home for Christmas. Dalton got a learning car, toy box, and some smaller toys. I enjoy watching him play with them. He has learned to dance so now when he's playing with his musical toys (most of them are) he starts dancing. It is way to cute. I just love watching all his progresses. Something we had waited a long time for and he has the best daddy in the world, who will get down on the floor and play with him. I love watching parents interact with their children. We are so blessed to have Dalton in our lives.
New Years Eve we had our family get together. There were over 40 of us there. We went sledding, made homemade pizzas, played games, and watched the ball drop. Dalton went down the hill with his daddy but wasn't a big fan. He got snow flying back at him. We were going to pull taffy but never got around to it. Some of us decided to go back to the hill at dark. It was so much fun. My mom who is 77 climbed up the icy hill (with help of course). I sure hope I act as young as her when I'm that age. The best part of the night was getting to ring in the New Year with my two guys.
I hope you all have a great 2014. God bless!!!
Now off to start planning Dalton's first birthday party.
